Belarus is one of economically developed states of CIS. In its economy the share of the industry makes about 1/3 volumes of a national product. Leading industries are motor industry, tractor building and agricultural mechanical engineering, machine-tool construction and manufacture of bearings. The electro technical industry, extraction and oil refining, manufacture of synthetic fibres, mineral fertilizers, a pharmaceutical industry, manufacture of building materials, the light and food industries are developed in the country. Characteristic feature of the national industry is manufacture of finished goods which most part is delivered on export. The ground fund of Byelorussia makes 20,7 million in hectares, including 9,3 million in hectares of the agricultural grounds from which 6,2 million in hectares are arable. Environment of Byelorussia allow to make successfully such highly remunerative packaging of agricultural production as milk, a beef, pork, meat and an egg of a bird, grain, a potato, long-fibred flax, a sugar beet, etc. The big attention is given to technical reequipment of the industry processing agricultural production, escalating of an export potential of agrarian sector. |
